Ok Guys. This is goo thread. To start with can one of you summarize which books you are going to refer. Here is what I have gathered from the experiences of those who have cracked GMAT:

SC:
1. Mahattan SC guide
2. Kaplan Premier program
3. Kaplan 800
4. OG

Critical Reasoning:
1. Kaplan Premier Program
2. Critical Reasoning Guide
3. Kaplan 800
4. OG
5. LSAT Critical Reasoning - This has tough CR questions. If you get time, it is great to complete this, but optional.

Quantitative:
1. Kaplan and OG
2. Kaplan workbooks.

Please share your thoughts on this.

Hey Guys,

I had a shot at GMAT 2 years back with not such good score. re-appearing in June this year. iam targetting 1 year MBA prog (ISM / IIM - PGPX / SPJain / AIM).

Have been doing a lots of online practice tests oflate with scores hovering arnd 620-640. The problem areas for me are data sufficiency / sentence correction quest....

It would help if any of the group memebers here can suggest strategy they follow or books or online material to solve problems in DS / SC areas.

Hi puys, after a disastrous CAT 09 season...I have opted out of the cat race and i guess my 4 years of experience justifies my decision. Completely new to the GMAT battlefield can any fellow puy guide me on where I should start with.

Last week attended a counseling session by IMS and they almost made me feel like without them it is very difficult to crack GMAT and its application process. Need help..

Also if any group studies are going on in mumbai (like we used to have for cat)...i will b interested to join.
