I am preparing for IRMA exam scheduled in Nov 2012 without any tution classes. Can you please recommend which books & material I should refer to for preparing each of the Analytical Reasoning, Quant & English Comprehension sections?
Also what topics should I focus on for each?

Hi All,

I am also willing to apply to IRMA this year.
Preparation for IRMA should be similar to CAT/Other MBA Tests.
Refer Past Year Papers nd then prepare.
Only difference is Social and Economic Awareness Section in IRMA.
You can read Pratiyogita Darpan (Economy Issue),India 2012,Yojana and kurukshetra Magazines and current affairs for this section.

I HAVE GIVEN IRMA LAST YR ND GOT ONLY 78%ILE .. THOUGH CLEARED ENGLISH AND REASONING CUTOFF BUT .. HAD A BAD LUCK IN QUANTS AND GK SECTION /.. FOR GK .. AGRICULTURAL BASED QUATIONS SHOULD BE COVERED .. .. IF SOME BODY POST ON PAGAL GUY RELATED TO GK THAT WOULD BE HELPFULL. .. FR ENGLISH GRAMMER SHOULD B FOCUSED AND RC'S .. QUANTS IS OF MEDIUM LEVEL .. RESONING - CASELETS R ASKED

notification is expected in mid to end august. The exam will be around mid nov.

Future-Perfect Hi guyz,

Last year , i wrote IRMA and had a pretty good percentile.Questions are not very tough, but still you need a good preparation..if you have prepared for CAT , then you don't need any specific preparations.you need to consider just two things

-Speed building(solve more of speed based questions)
-Gk part(Plz buy the yearly economic issue of PRATIYOGITA DARPAN,you will get many
questions as it is a holistic issue.Keep yourself updated with all the GOI schemes
for rural masses and everything pertaining to rural india and indian economy in
general)
whatever i have told,is based on my experience and it may vary from year to year but as per now, i would suggest you to go with your CAT preparations and keep yourself updated with the happenings around you,specially rural sector...IRMA is a lovely college
