How is Queen's in terms of final year recruitments for Mgmnt Consulting and IT Consulting? Do companies like Deloitte, Accenture, IBM and MS for tech consulting and Mc Kinsey, Bain and BCG for mgmnt consulting come to Queen's?
Which would you rate the highest in terms of employability and prestige in Canada, out of Queen's, Rotman's and Ivey?
Pls do let me know your views! Need to arrive at a decisions soon!

Most of the above mentioned companies do come for Management Consulting recruitment including the Big 3, but only Deloitte and IBM offer IT Consulting profiles as well. Queen's and Ivey are rated highest in terms of employability and prestige and followed closely by Rotman. But you should understand before you take a decision on doing MBA from Canada is that most of the jobs are secured through Networking here. Just to give you an idea - around 15% of jobs are generally offered through the On-campus recruitment process, while other jobs are acquired throughout the year through networking and other means. However, with the boom of social media , I thought it would be great to connect on Facebook. I am not sure if there exists a page similar to this, but I took the opportunity to create a page on FB where we can discuss everything about Queens and related stuff.

Guys ... was chatting with some people at Kingston doing their MBA currently. Seems like Jan will have a housing crunch as most houses become available in May or Sep. Any ideas or any one else heard the same?

2. How many international students with more than 10 years of experience graduated from Queens in May 2012 and May 2013 and were able to secure jobs commensurate with their experience.

I shall be taking up a date for GMAT this May. I just wanted help from people as to what average score in GMAT does Queens look at. How are the academic scholarships placed. How much would it cost for living expenses in Kingston.

Cost of living: 700-1000 CAD per month inclusive of everything (varies depending upon your lifestyle)

last season i had got a call from Rotman.. but due to high fees i wasn't able to manage my finances and rejected the offer.. 😞
i will be really grateful if someone can tell me which business schools are good in Canada (Schulich, Queens, Ivey, HEC, McGill) - preferably in and around Toronto - from, especially, course, time, recruitment and fees perspective..
