Hiii
I am Maninder & i just qualify CA and joined CFA now (Level -1 Exam is in June)
I joined it because i am interested in IB and PM but after 4-5 year exp i wanna do MBA from Top B Schools
Because both CA and CFA is distance learning professional courses and due to that my presentation skills are little weak and although leadership quality is inbuilt but i think it can be learned also
So i start preparing for GMAT now but my english is not so good
I have very talent but due to my english i suffered a lot
So plz help me in this way
Bye

Maninder,
Congratulations on your CA certification.

Before you start preparing for GMAT, I would suggest that you take some basic English classes first. There is no point in preparing for the GMAT when your basic diction and grammar is not right; otherwise, you'll only be wasting your time. This is my honest opinion.

Also, any other query related to GMAT, please post here:

speaking and listening to people is a best way to improve and correct urself. other than that as u correctly mentioned that reading various english magazines and editorials should also help u
read timesofindia(any other english newspaper should help u). from a gmat perspective do not think now. keep reading and try to understand information.

Pick up novels which interests you , don't judge by english content. You can have light english to difficult english on almost on topics. So read according to content rather than judging books by english usage.

Reading editorials  along with it read something of your interest too ..like sports , Page3 , world news etc.

Watch english news ndtv , cnn-ibn , business news (if that interests you) & watch discussion and debates ..will help you come to an opinion on a topic .. it helps a great deal.

Something non-conventional watch movies , tv series , listen songs.
Write blogs and stuff.

Best of luck.

I agree with vinay's post.
Times Of India is not a source for improving your English. It is full grammatical errors. Stay away from TOI, instead read the hindu.
But I would strongly recommend you to join a good english language course in your city. Its the fastest and easiest way to improve your English.
