Prasar Bharati MTS Recruitment 2017
Prasar Bharati is an autonomous body set up by an Act of Parliament and is India’s largest public broadcasting agency. It comprises of Doordarshan television Network and All India Radio, which were initially a part of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. In 1990 Parliament of India passed the Prasar Bharati Act to make it an autonomous body, it got enacted on 15th September 1997.
Prasar Bharati has notified for the recruitment of 33 Multi Tasking Staff under special recruitment drive for Persons with Disability (PWD) for its various Doordarshan Kendras, and has invited applications from the eligible candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Prasar Bharti 2017 Recruitment:
Education:
Candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent or ITI passed from a recognised university
Age Limit:
Age of candidates should be between 18-25 years
Age Relaxation:
Physically Handicapped: 10 years
Physically Handicapped OBC: 13 years
Physically Handicapped SC/ST: 15 years
Prasar Bharti MTS Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected for Prasar Bharti MTS through written exam. Written exam will be conducted in two different papers.
Prasar Bharti 2017 MTS Exam Pattern:
There will be two different papers in MTS exam
Paper-I will have objective type questions with four parts. Time provided will be two hours.
Part 1 will have questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning for 25 marks.
Part 2 will have questions on Numerical aptitude for 25 marks.
Part 3 will have questions on General English for 50 marks.
Part 4 will have questions on General awareness for 50 marks
Paper-II : Papar II will consist of short essay or Letter in English or Hindi for 50 marks with duration of 30 mins.
