For VA nothing as per se...just practicing RC's from Mock papers.. :)

The time required varies from person to person, so the classic answer "it depends":-o
On a serious note, start preparing from now itself. Its your loss if you start late but you lose nothing if you start early, although I feel this is the right time to start due to the competition associated with the exam.
Regarding coaching, again depends on which city you are from. It varies from city to city, sometimes even branch to branch.
Do some heavy research on this before joining as you dont want to compromise on this.Talk to present students, enquire about the faculty before taking the plunge.

hi my name is Aniruddha Barman...I am from Kolkata..i am doing my classes at CL, kolkata...started my preparations from July this year(basically its when the CL classes began, my own preparation is lagging by a long way :P)...i dont have any CAT book at present except the CL study materials provided till now...also have a lot of online material that i collected from seniors at college...ummm, regarding the effort per day quantified, its a variable in my case, but not more than an hour though..i do appear for the testfunda MiniCATs...my strong point is i QA...VA is looking to murder me i guess...have a serious trouble in VA..thanks to my precarious reading habits... :P...i wish to apply for BLACKIS...and also XLRI...cant go beyond that

Dont quit ur job for preparing for CAT,because it is not an exam like JEE/PMT where you need to slog it out crazily.STUDY SMART n ATB!! :-D 😃
