Can anybody enlighten me as to what are the excepted scores from CAT and MAT to get into this institute this year,and personally how do everyone rate this college as per faculties and placements on the scale of five...Plz reason behind your replies will be much appreciated

Thanks buddy you are of great help. I am reapting the same qauestion from the other thread as I was looking for some one in executive batch.Could you suggest what can expect on with my profile. Total work ex 5yrs.1.5 yrs as Online game Tester, 3yrs with IBM Daksh as Sr. Tech Specialist (worked for helwett packard), Now with another IT company as server support specialist. Last year I had offers from IBS hyderabad(executive batch-1yr), Xime banglore(executive batch-15 months), again will be applying to these collages along with BIMM.could you please suggest which one to go for.and to add my current package is 4.2. considering these factors could you suggest how beneficial would be bimm for me And would also love to know about the previous profiles of the student from exec batch.

like if sumbody's scorng 70 in cat 95 above in mat still thy go 4 cat first..

heya m getin a score of abuv 100 in snap acc. to various ans. keys n i've got 99.01%ile in dec. mat
which 1 of d 2 shud i apply from so dat atleast d test score cud b of a bit help in call conversion
ma academics aren't dat gud
10th-60%
12th-80%
B.Com-61%
dun hav ne special achievemtns or certificates to show for curricular or xtra curricular activities
hav 1.5 yrs. of work-ex in a real estate development co.
plz tel me about ma chances for BIMM as m concerned about dis college only n not about d sister institutes

10th, 12th n grads must b 60% , in order to b eligible....

>>> a yr drop
Grad : BBA - 70% (passed out sept. 2009)

nt very much into extra curriculars..:lookround:
was student editor of the college magazine
won 2-3 quiz comp at coll level..

wat r my chances for BIMM????? pls

u have a decent score in snap, do fill for both as you never know which one you gonna convert.

start preparations for grilling GD/PI now.

Hi Jeet,

If you are in a hurry to do your MBA, then surely i would recommend XIME or IBS. But if you want holistic learning, then do join SBS. Ours is a no-nonsense course with in-depth learning of all topics. Other 1 year Exe courses assume that we know most of the managerial things, and just touch upon most the subjects.

Also do the cost-benefit analysis. SBS course costs 5 lacs for 2 years, while others charge 6lac+ for 1 year. You need not be concerned about placements, due to the work ex factor.

You should easily see yourself through BIMM.
Your profile appears quite attractive. Now all depends on how you handle the GD/PI.

Also, you need to wisely justify the reason for your 1 year gap. Do give reasons like wanted to pursue hobbies, wanted some time for myself, etc.

Yes.

BIMM does give more importance to CAT, as it is the standard used by all top B-Schools. As you might have observed, any Tom, **** and Harry is able to score 90+ percentile in MAT, while it takes a lot to score even a decent 75+ in CAT.
You may submit both the scores as the MAT scores will be converted to CAT ones, to bring them at par. You will definitely get a call.

Last year( 2007-09) , in spite of recession, BIMM managed to have a placement of 98%.
The average salary did see a slight dip, but still it was around 4.5 lacs.

The reputation of the college does bring in the best companies to campus. The rest is for the students to convert.

Yes. BIMM accepts SNAP scores for admission. Please confirm from the prospectus for further details.
