In the application form it was not possible to select both MBA and PGDM. So I have selected MBA in that.
I want to know that at the tome of admission if i clear the cutoff then will it be possible that the choice of PGDM at Banglore campus be offered??
And I also want to know the cutoff marks for PGDM at Banglore campus for last year as the data provided on the website is showing the cutoffs of only MBA and EPGDM.. Please provide the sectionals also if possible....
Please help as soon as possible.. After that i will decide whether to retake the test or not..
Thanks in advance..

I am also having the same query regarding Bangalore/Mumbai campuses. I have chosen MBA option in my form as we could choose only 1 option. Kindly clarify.

MBA program runs only on the Mumbai campus as per the information available from NM students in my circle. So if you have chosen MBA option - then it is definitely limited for Mumbai campus.
The 2 programs that run at Bangalore are PG diplomas - a 2 yr one and a 15 month long (needs 5+ yrs exp)
Besides this, the Bangalore programs seem to have Analytics with SAS on their curriculum. Which to my knowledge is predicted to be the next big thing in business decision making.
Thanks..

hey guys,
Ok.. since this was the first year of applications for the Bangalore campus, a lot of students were not able to comprehend that you need to apply separately for the Bangalore campus' program, so the management might just consider giving an option to students who did not apply for Bangalore but only for Mumbai to apply at the time of admission.
But this might be given only after those who did apply during the initial admission form for the Bangalore campus.
This is not an official word from the admissions department, but it is highly likely that this is how it would proceed.
Hope this helps.

When u filled out the form for NMAT, u would have had to select preference of course. Here, there were radio buttons for selecting courses at Mumbai and those at Bangalore and Hyderabad, so u must have selected one of the two. According to official info, to apply to both campuses u needed to apply twice. But as I said earlier there are high chances of those who applied for just one campus gettin the option to apply for the other campus at the time of admission.
No official word on this yet, but highly likely this is what would happen.

Yes that would be great since those who are not able to make it to mumbai campus , can think of Bangalore campus. Also institute will get a good lot of candidates in turn. Waiting for the official word for the same :lookround:

Hi ,
Recently I have been selected for MPE in Bengaluru campus . We had a GD and PI round , which I cleared . However I would really like to know about the prospects about this program , pros and cons . If someone can really shed some light , it will be really helpfull for me to decide to go with the offer .

The Management Program for Executives (MPE) is a 20 month weekend program for executives with about 3+ years of experience. We hardly get to interact with the students from the MPE as they are seen only on weekends and not living in the hostel but from what I've heard, it is a very good course and NMIMS Bangalore specialises in the weekend program. We had started out with the MPE program and the course structure has been well received by the students and the industry.
Infact, the Bangalore management has designed the same course for the newly opened Hyderabad campus and I believe the Hyderabad campus is soon goin to start an MPE batch.
The MPE enables people with technical backgrounds move up the corporate ladder by gaining managerial skills while continuing to work. So you do not lose on the opportunity cost of leaving your job for the education.

is their any different cut off for banglore campus...or is it the common cut off
rahul goel Saysis their any different cut off for banglore campus...or is it the common cut off
Last year, the cut off for NMAT was used to call students for the GD/PI for all courses offered by NMIMS. Only later with the NMAT score + GD/PI score + acads + workex were the candidates offered various courses offered by NMIMS.
