My profile- GMAT 700/ 15 months experience, 83% in engg...
Anyone else who has applied or is planning to join McCallum??

Thanks...Well min work ex is around 2 years..I'll have around 19 months exp when i'll join....Total exp is counted to time u will join..Case by case exceptions are made...i.e.. it is not that if u have less than 2 yrs then they wont admit u....ur overall application is considered...

I am sorry but never heard of this college.
I think you can build a stronger profile for a much better college next year.
700 GMAT and 83%+ in undergrads is good.
Forget about tution fees.
This will be a brand you will need to carry thru out ur life. Moreover, they gave u tution off coz ur i guess much above the avg GMAT there.
If u work on ur extra-curr/ community service profile, i dont see a reason why u cant be competent for top 15 schools (and not just top 15 IT schools). H/S may still be a stretch though.

hmm..I know that would have been the best option...wanted that too..BUT...postponing my MBA to next fall is an option I dont have:( 😞

Need ur advice....
Other than full scholarship at bentley..I have now got about 75% scholarship from Notre Dame....had fully decided on Bentley when i got the ND scholarship mail today......
Any advice people........I want to pursue MBA-IT (Bentley come is top 20 in that specialization while ND has more reputation overall).......
Help!!

Don't get into the exercise of comparing ND with Bentley. How much is the cost for ND MBA after your 75% aid ? I mean tuition+living. By all means, go to ND.

Even after 75% scholarship..it still leaves me with around $ 18000+ of tution fee for two years...not including the living expenses..So other than taking loan for living expenses,i'll also need another 10L for tution....
If i leave aside the cost consideration..Two other things which are making me compare these two are:
1. I want to specialise in MBA-IT..in which i know bentley is ranked in top 20..but for Notre Dame..i'm not sure how good its IT specialization is.....
2.Location-Benltey is on out skirts of boston..So nearer to Job scenario....than ND..

If money is a concern, you have no choice. I am sure you'll not have problems with getting a job if you go to Bentley provided the economy is as good two years hence as it is today. The reason why Bentley has good rankings in IT is because of it's location close to the IT belt in Boston and NYC...which means a lot of students from Bentley would be getting jobs/internships in IT.
What I am trying to say is, the fact that Bentley is higher than ND in IT specialization may not mean that Bentley is better than ND in IT in terms of quality of education or reputation. The quality of your MBA experience - in terms of education, or getting in touch with top class people, will definitely be better at ND.

Talked with alumni of both ND and Bentley..the result of discussions was -> If u want to do MBA -IT then got to Bentley,if thinking of specialization in any field other than IT, go to ND...
So guess my decision is made for Bentley..hope i fare well!

Please go ahead and join Bentley.It will be cheaper and is a decent school.You will have
to spend quite a lot for ND.But ND is overall good.And IMO is top 25.

I have got an admit for this year's fall (2012). Can you share some insights about scholarships and how they work out.
The I-20 sounds a bit confusing to me; when I go read the tution fees in Bentley website nothing seems to match.
