I have also applied for McGill. Want to know when did you submit your application, when did you get the admit and interview call (if interviewed) and what is your profile. Were you interviewed? If yes please share your interview experience.

I applied way back in December, and got admitted in Jan this year.

Profile

GMAT : 720
Work Experience : Almost 4 years (2 Years- Application Development, 2 Years- Business Development/ Communication Management)
Industry: IT (Fortune 200)
Education: IT

Interviewed by Jonathan Khayat, who I must say was a pleasure to talk to.. Questions were standard.. Why MBA, Why MCgill, Post MBA Goals etc.

Are you joining? Have you paid the confirmation deposit?

How much time do they give you to decide?

Have you researched about the institute. Because what I know is there are some differences in visa norms between Quebec and other places in Canada. Do these differences affect job opportunities specially international students?

Yes, visa process is diff. You have to get a CAQ and then apply for Visa... PM me your my gmail-id if you want to discuss in details.

I have an admit too from Desautels..Have paid the deposit and will most probably be joining in Aug'12. Hope to see you guys in Aug'12 :).

Hi,

I too will be joining Desautels this Aug. I'd appreciate if all those who have admits could share what sort of educational loan they are are tying up. I had considered Credila, however I've learnt that their sanction letter will not suffice to apply for the study permit as the rules require a sanction from a Bank.

I figured since McGill and JMSB are both located in Montreal, why not network with the neighbours regarding the CAQ, Visa application process and housing issues

Has anybody applied for the CAQ & Student Visa?

I also got an admit in Mcgill. But haven't yet received the detail offer letter.
How much is the initial deposit ? What would be the total expense of MBA including living expenses.
I have an offer letter of Schulich too and have to take decision in this week.
But I am not aware of where job opportunities(Toronto or Quebec) would be better after MBA.
Would appreciate if someone can help in making a right decision.

5 years in IT
would like to work as IT consultant or Business analyst after MBA

Has anyone received official acceptance from GPS? I received an offer on 21st February 2012 but have not received official acceptance yet..
