Welingkar gives a profile based call.
Plus, top 1/3rd of the applicants are called for the gd/pi process.
generally people with yur percentile, get a call.
but it depends on lot of factors, like the percentiles of the people who have applied alongwith you.

Has the last date of sale of application been extended to 25th April 2012. kindly confirm.....
I have filled online form on 25th and then sent the docs and pdf in a normal envelope. But today I got the prospectus where it is written that docs should be sent in wellingkar's prescribed envelope only? will my form be rejected??

1st i sent them a mail asking if it has been postponed to the 25th April...and if no then wat is d last date...
they replied with only a "yes it has"...
so i called them up and asked them...toh a madam who picked up d call in the admissions cell told me tht d last date for getting the form is d same where as d date for submission of the forms has been postponed to the 10th of April...

the mhcet results are being declared on 16th april.
so there are many applicants who apply once they get there score.
the gd/pi will be scheduled in 2nd or 3rd week of may and the results would be out as soon as possible later.
all maharashtra state colleges generally follow this schedule.
so the welingkar authorities also i think have followed the same.

some miscommunication there.
the last date for application to welingkar is 25th april 2012.
you have to send the filled up application form with all the attested marksheets.

a gd-pi call depends on a lot of things.
yur past acads and written exam score carry the most weightage.
it also depends on the course you apply to.
welingkar generally calls top 1/3rd of the total applicants for the gd-pi process.
so it depends on the percentiles of the people who have applied alongwith you also.
