hey im getting 52-57 MARKS in cat 2007
acads - 77 in 10th ......
85 in 12th
80 in grads
have 7mnths wrk ex wit deloitte n then im wrkin wit my family retail business fr the past 7mnths.....so totally a wrk ex of 14mnths till nw
i have been a college topper in 11th n all 3 years of grads
have valuable certificates frn degree college n HARVARD COURSES - distance mode...(got an oppurtunity being a deloitte employee)////also have a NCFM certificates in financial markets............

so can i expet a call frm amrita?
hey..i ll be getting more than 90%le..is it worth joining amrita?
does amrita have a 100% placement record ?what is the avg salary ?

I'm getting about 51-55 in CAT 2007... Final year student of B.Com... 87% in twelfth... 89% in tenth... What are the chances of getting call from Amrita? Do they consider sectional cut-offs?

The Cut off for Amrita should be around 78-82 percentile.Last year it was in and around 75 percentile .
Looking at your profile Amit makes me believe you are finance material!!!!..am i right???..do you intend to specialise in finance :)????
Believe me it is one of the best place for finance in the entire country!!!!
If you get a call................I think the interview shouldn`t be a problem for you!!

hi, luckily as of now they didi'nt hav ny sectional cutoff's as such....probability is they wont consider this tim as well.

If you can get more than 90% , I would suggest you to look for some other options. Yes amrita has 100% placement, but its not worth it. Average salary is 4.25 lacs but the job profile sucks. The only good thing about the college is the faculty. They are too good and very helping in fact. Some of the placements are done through them offcampus and not through the placement cell.

I dont think it is worth for you join amrita if u havew 90%. Please try someother college. The placements are not that good. Beleive me, U will major problems after coming here.
The average salary is 4.25 lacs, but the job profile sucks. The only good thing about the college is faculty. They are too good and finance esp, very good. Yes there is 100% placement , but beware there are a lot of twists and turns in that.
Dont waste your life coming here. Esp people with work ex, dont even think of this college.
people plz keep in mind that profile offered in different colleges vary vastly....................so it is strongly advisable to avoid institutes like abs if u get anything near 90 percentile.

Gotta be honest with 50 percentile .I dont seriously see you getting a call from Amrita........but you can always try for other colleges
At 50 percentile well this should be the colleges that might give you a call
SDM-IMD, NIBM-Pune,skyline etc
But i would certainly advise you to try again!!!!
