I have not given CMAT 2012. I'm planning to give CMAT 2013 going to be held in feb. How to prepare for GK in two months? was that compulsory to give CMAT 2012 to get admission in gujarat colleges or it would be sufficient to give CMAT 2013 and have good score?
@apsingh1607 : For GK daily reading of newspaper and current affairs is enough..U can buy Manorama year book for the preparations..
No, the best score of two exams will be considered for admissions.. so no issues if you have not given the 2012 exam..you can go for 2013 and get admission..

@ashishkr33 : first of all gujarat is accepting cmat scores for the first time so right now nothing can be said about merit.. and also one more exam is on the way so it it will be little difficult to predict right now.. but seeing your rank (which i assume is AIR) you stand good chances for B.K..

@ashishkr33 : Buddy, its a government college.. education is pretty good compared to other colleges and placement record is good so far. according to my knowledge the college had 100% placement record till 2011. the 2012 pass outs had little difficulty..6 of our seniors(11-13) are placed till now..and avg. package was around 4.. fees is around 5000 per year (probably the cheapest mba course in india
). negative sides- lack of good infra, govt.college so no efforts are done frm college side. honestly, not in par with ivy league colleges but if you seriously consider admission in gujarat (under CMAT) then probably it is best option...

@chai24 : in my opinion B.K (ahmedabad) and M.S.U (baroda) are two of the best ones. you can also count Amrut Mody(ahmedabad)..

and regarding other good institutes B.K, M.S, Amrut Mody, G.H.Patel, Som LAlit and GLS are some of the good ones..
