You need to pay an installment of Rs. 3,75,000 by 7th March.

You are expected to pay Rs. 3.75lacs by 7th march as is the case...

if you wish to withdraw your admission... then you will be refunded 3.44lacs (31k will be deducted - 30k as non-refundable preinduction fees and 1k as per UGC and AICTE norms)

SO you will get 3.44lacs back in your bank a/c within 10 working days..

You do have very good chances of getting a convert soon...
just wait and watch till 20th March... if your name is not on that list... then most probably you will crack the next one...

Dude it will take a little bit of time as has been the trend for the last few years...
You need to be patient my friend.... i believe you will get a final convert by mid may to be on the safe side...

From what i have understood, one will lose a 1000 bucks in the event one chooses not to take the seat. However, you will have to deposit an amount of 3,75,000 which will take a while for being refunded.

Also that 3,75,000 needs to be a cash deposit, no cheques. Not very sure if bank loan would be an advisable option for someone who is likely to forego the seat at a later stage.

EDIT- Just found 30,000 as non refundable fees is also going to be deducted

Is this the only waitlist given?. I mean are there more lists expected as the rounds proceed. With other results expected to come out.Are there going to be more lists as well as waiting lists??

And why are the scores not being declared with the results.Why the secrecy in declaring scores.

why is it impossible dude??
if both of you are in the general category... that means your composite scores are the same...
so if 2 ppl are wl#83... that means the next person must be wl#85

Once the present waitlist is exhausted... SIBM Pune authorities WILL come out with a second waitlist if the need be....
