SRMJEEE 2025 Exam Information

The SRM Institute of Science & Technology has released the SRMJEEE 2025 application form online at srmist.edu.in. The SRMJEEE 2025 exam will be conducted in three phases: Phase 1 (April 22 to 27, 2025), Phase 2 (June 12 to 17, 2025), and Phase 3 (July 4 to 5, 2025). Candidates can submit their application for Phase 1 until April 16, 2025. The application deadlines for Phase 2 and Phase 3 are June 6, 2025, and June 30, 2025, respectively. The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) is required for admission to the BTech courses at SRMIST. To gain admission, candidates must take the online remote-proctored SRMJEEE exam for any of the BTech programs offered at SRMIST campuses in Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli, Ghaziabad, Sonepat, and Andhra Pradesh.

SRMJEEE 2025 will be held at the national level, allowing candidates to appear for the exam from their homes. The exam will consist of 125 MCQs covering 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Aptitude, and English. SRMIST has also released the SRMJEEE 2025 syllabus, model question papers, and exam pattern with complete exam details. Candidates who register for SRMJEEE 2025 must book their exam date and time, download the admit card, check their exam ranks, and participate in the counselling process. It is important to note that admission to SRMIST campuses and BTech programs is based exclusively on the SRMJEEE All India Rank.

SRMJEEE is a national-level entrance exam for BTech programs at SRMIST campuses. The exam covers topics from Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Aptitude, and English based on the 10+2 curriculum. It is conducted remotely, enabling candidates to take the exam from their homes.

SRMJEEE is the standard entrance test for all SRM Group institutions across various locations, including Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli), Delhi NCR (Ghaziabad, UP), SRM University – Sonepat (Haryana), and SRM University, AP (Andhra Pradesh). Admission is determined solely by SRMJEEE ranks and seat availability, with candidates selecting their desired courses during the counselling process.

In the Engineering and Technology stream, SRM institutions follow the IDEAL strategy. Interdisciplinary Experiential Active Learning (IDEAL) is a programme that allows students to pursue a UG degree with a specialisation or a minor course. This strategy is used to help students improve their skills in their core subjects. Students can tailor their course and curriculum to their specific interests. The course and specialisation differs depending on the institution. As a minor course, students can choose from any engineering degree. 

SRMJEEE 2025 Exam Date

In most cases, the SRMJEEE exams will be held in April. However, before the first week of March, the applications will be available online. It is the responsibility of the aspirant to keep track of it. The SRMJEEE (UG) exam will last approximately 10 days. Each test center’s SRMJEEE exam date will be announced later. The candidate should book their exam slot as soon as possible to ensure that they get their preferred test center and session. There will be no changes to the exam date or location once the jury has made its decision. The SRMJEEE dates to remember for UG and PG degrees are listed in the table below.

After the first submission, the candidate’s email address and phone number cannot be changed. As a result, the candidate must be cautious when filling out those details. Throughout the admissions process, the candidate must ensure that the registered mobile number and email address are valid. Except for exam dates, all other dates for both PG and UG courses are the same. The interview date for the Automotive Hybrid Systems Engineering course for the PG degree will be announced later.

SRMJEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

For Under Graduate course

Candidates who meet the following criteria are said to be eligible to sit for the SRMJEEE UG exams in 2025. The eligibility criteria are divided into three categories: nationality, age, and educational attainment. The educational qualification requirement varies by campus, but the other two criteria will remain the same.

Educational Qualification

  • He/she should have completed or appeared for the higher secondary exam in 2025 in state board, central board, ISCE or NIOS. They should have opted for Physics, chemistry, biology or biotechnology as their major subjects.
  • The candidate should do diploma in International Baccalaureate (IB) or else should have completed A-level in International school within India, electing physics, chemistry, maths, biology or biotechnology as major.
  • The candidate shouldn’t have completed both 10th and 12th in NIOS board.
  • The candidate should have cleared their higher secondary or diploma exams within two attempts.

Entrance exams

  • The candidate who has qualified in IIT JEE MAIN or SAT can directly enter the admission process without taking up SRMJEEE UG exams.

 

SRMJEEE 2025 Registration

SRMIST has made the SRMJEEE 2025 application form available online on its official website.

Candidates can follow these steps to apply:

  1. Register on the website.
  2. Verify your email ID.
  3. Complete the online application form.
  4. Upload the necessary documents.
  5. Pay the application fee.

Candidates need to upload the following scanned images:

  • Photograph: 200 x 230 pixels, max 5 MB
  • Signature: 140 x 60 pixels, max 5 MB

Once the application form is successfully submitted, an application number will be generated. This number should be saved for future reference and communication. The course/campus preference selected during the application is for statistical purposes only. The actual course preference can be chosen during the counselling process, depending on the SRMJEEE All India Rank and seat availability.

The SRMJEEE result will be published on the official website, displaying the candidate’s All India Rank (AIR). This rank will be used to allocate seats during the counselling process.

SRMJEEE 2025 Exam Pattern

SRMJEEE 2025 Syllabus for English

This section includes comprehension-based questions, which may be in the form of short passages, lines from poems, or dialogues. The candidate needs to read the provided text and answer the corresponding questions. Each question has four options, from which the most appropriate answer should be selected.

 

SRMJEEE 2025 Admit Card

Throughout the process, the candidate must maintain the same registered email address and phone number. The candidate’s email address and phone number will be used for communication until the final admission. During the application process, the candidate can select their preferred test centre from a list. It is impossible to change the test session or the test centre once they have been selected. The jury panel has the authority to assign a test centre that is not the candidate’s first choice. The candidate who has completed the application process receives a hall ticket.

Step to download HALL TICKET

  • Go to https://applications.srmuniv.ac.in/ and fill out the form.
  • In the pop-up, the candidate must log in with his or her registered email address and password.
  • If you’ve forgotten your password, click the Forget Password button in the pop-up window.
  • Use the email sent to your registered email address to reset your password, and then enter the password in the pop-up box.

 

SRMJEEE 2025 Result

The SRMJEEE 2025 result can be accessed on the official website of the institution by entering the application number and password. The result will include details such as the candidate’s rank, qualifying status, and the procedure for participating in the counseling process. Students who qualify for the exam will be eligible for admission to the institute, provided they meet other eligibility requirements. The SRMJEEE result will also be sent to candidates through their registered email IDs. Ranks for each phase of the exam will be released separately.

SRMJEEE 2025 Counselling

The institute conducts online SRMJEEE counselling for the admission of eligible candidates with SRMJEEE ranks. Seats are allocated based on the candidate’s rank in the entrance exam, their preferred choice of branch and campus, and the availability of seats.

The SRMJEEE e-counselling process includes the following steps:

  1. Login to the Application Portal and click on the Admission Portal
  2. Fill in the choices
  3. View the SRMJEEE seat allotment result
  4. Accept the allocation (only for selected candidates)
  5. Proceed with payment of counselling fees (only for selected candidates)
  6. Download the Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) (only for selected candidates)
  7. Pay the remaining tuition fee and complete online enrolment (only for selected candidates)

 

SRMJEEE Cutoff

The SRMJEEE 2025 cutoffs represent the minimum ranks required for admission or seat allotment to a specific program or campus. Although SRM Institute of Science & Technology (SRMIST) does not officially release the SRMJEEE cutoff, it may be made available on the institute’s official website (srmist.edu.in) if released for 2025.

Candidates with SRMJEEE 2025 ranks lower than the cutoff will only be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The SRMJEEE 2025 cutoff will be determined by the official exam conducting authority, taking into account factors such as the exam’s difficulty level, the total number of candidates, and the available number of seats. For highly sought-after programs like BTech CSE at the SRMIST Chennai campus, candidates may need to secure a rank between 10,000 and 20,000.

SRMJEEE 2025 Expected Cutoff

Based on the previous year’s SRMJEEE rank versus branch data for CSE, candidates with a rank of up to 2000 may be eligible for the Computer Science Engineering course at the SRM KTR campus, which is the main campus. However, students are encouraged to await the counselling process to determine their allotted institute and branch.
