Asking about why the cut off scores for JEE Advanced 2017 has gone down to 81 for general students, Arora blamed the tough Mathematics paper this year. “The Mathematics paper was tricky and lengthy, which resulted in confusion for weaker students. Thus aspirants with strong preparation of Mathematics had the upper hand over others in JEE Main 2017,” said Arora.
