Introduction
COMEDK UGET -2019 is a state level examination for students who are seeking admission in the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka in undergraduate engineering courses. The exam pattern for COMEDK UGET-2019 has been released including details like types of questions asked, duration of examination, total marks of the examination, marking scheme etc. The candidates should go through the exam pattern to get an idea about the overall structure of the examination. The online application form is already released on January 16, 2019 and the last date for submission is April 19, 2019.
Candidates can get admission in a total of 190 participating institutes through this exam. Around 20,000 seats are offered for qualified candidates of COMEDK 2019.
Exam Dates
The COMEDK UGET-2019 will be held on May 12, 2019. The online application form is available on the official website from January 16, 2019 to April 19, 2019.
The mock test will be available on the website from February 5, 2019. The candidates can also edit their details from April 20, 2019 to April 22, 2019. The admission ticket will be available for the students from May 3, 2019 to May 11, 2019. The result will be declared on May 27, 2019. The counselling session will start second week of June and will continue till all seats are filled in all 190 institutes.
Mode of Examination
The examination will be held in computer based online mode.
Duration of Examination
The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours. Out of 3 hours, combined paper of physics and chemistry will be held for one hour and separate paper for mathematics will be held for 1 hour.
Types of Questions
All questions will be multiple choice or objective type. Four options will be given from which only one will be correct answer.
Total Number of Questions
The total number of questions asked will be 180. The various sections constitute of the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The following is the subject wise number of questions asked:

Total Marks
The total marks of the examination will be 180. Each question will be of one mark.
Marking Scheme
The marking scheme of the examination is given below:
- Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer.
- For each incorrect answer, 0 marks will be deducted.
- No marks are given for un-attempted questions.

Eligibility Criteria 2019
Before applying for the examination, the candidates should check the eligibility criteria. With eligibility criteria candidates can get an idea if they can apply for the exam or not. The eligibility criteria vary for B.Tech an B.Arch programs.
COMEDK-2019 Mock Test
The mock test paper for COMEDK-2019 will be released in an online mode from February 5, 2019. Practise of mock test will help candidates understand about the exact pattern of the examination. The candidates will also be able to access their weak points and can work on the topics they are getting problem in answering questions from. Mock test is a good practice for the entrance exam.
