About College
University College of Engineering Nagercoil is centrally located within the vibrant city of Nagercoil, which is situated at the southernmost tip of Tamil Nadu, India. This college is an integral part of Anna University, Chennai, and receives financial support from the Tamil Nadu State Government. Its establishment in 2009 was driven by the noble objective of meeting the educational needs of deserving engineering students by providing high-quality technical education.
The institution offers undergraduate engineering programs in various disciplines, including Civil, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT), and Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, it facilitates an MBA program through distance education. Furthermore, the college actively engages in research initiatives, offering doctoral programs in the aforementioned engineering departments and extending to fields such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and English.
