School of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology Calicut, started in 2008 to intertwine technical skills and managerial proficiency. SOMS endeavours to develop the analytical and organisational skills required for a professional manager and to enrich them with adequate background and universal values to enable them to play an influential role as managers for the benefit of society.
