SOBD ADMISSION & FEES
Admission to SOBD PGDM program can be sought by candidates who can commit to academic excellence as well as think off the beaten track. Eligible candidates need to undergo the following School of Business Design admission process:
- Log on to the official website application.schoolofbusinessdesign.com/ and create a User Account by filling in the requisite details viz. Name, Country, Email, and Password.
- After completing the registration process, fill in the online application form.
- Pay the application fee of INR 2000 through any of the online payment options.
- Payment acknowledgment notification is emailed to the candidates on their registered email.
- Candidates need to select a date for a half-day Design Thinking Workshop. Next, they need to appear for an interview before the Admission Team.
- Final admission results are communicated to candidates by email.
School of Business Design Fee Structure for PGDM course is as follow:
- Tuition & Academic Fee: INR 750,000
- Program Fee: INR 450,000
- Global Immersion: INR 100,000
- Food (Lunch & Snacks): INR 50,000
- Caution Deposit: INR 50,000
The above-mentioned SOBD PGDM fee structure of INR 14 Lakhs is for Day Scholars. Those seeking hostel facilities will have to pay an additional accommodation fee of INR 250,000 - amounting to a total fee of INR 16.5 Lakhs for Boarders.
Please note that the Global Immersion fee is optional and students will be waived if they opt-out of it. Also, the hostel fee is indicative and subject to change, depending upon the input costs.
SOBD ELIGIBILITY/SELECTION PROCESS
School of Business Design follows a well-structured admission process for its unique and rigorous PGDM program, which requires candidates of a certain disposition. The eligibility criteria for applying to SOBD PGDM in Business Design are as follow:
- They must have a full-time undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institution. Final year students can also apply, but they need to provide their degree certificate before 15th June 2020.
- A minimum of 50% marks in graduation.
- Freshers or candidates with less than 5 years of full-time work experience by June 2020.
- Before applying to SOBD PGDM in Business Design, candidates need to appear for GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT.
Upon completion of admission formalities that include submission of online application form and payment of application fee, candidates are reviewed by the SOBD selection committee. Evaluation is based on the entrance test score (SOBD considers the best score among the multiple scores submitted by candidates), past academic records, and participation in extra-curricular activities. Another important selection parameter is the performance of the candidate in both the Design Thinking Workshop and the Interview. The final admission result is communicated to candidates via email.

The first batch of PGDM Program of SOBD commenced classes in July 2019 and will be the first-ever graduates in India with specialization in Business Design.
