The Master of Management Studies is a full-time, two-year postgraduate degree program that is affiliated with the University of Mumbai.

Objectives of the Program:

The MMS program is dedicated to molding students into highly proficient and adept business managers. It immerses them in real-world scenarios, where they learn to respond intelligently using their wit, presence of mind, analytical abilities, and business insight. This process helps them unearth their true potential and transforms them into resilient professionals through intense and focused hard work. While enhancing their conceptual and interpersonal skills, the program also hones their ability to consider the societal dimension in decision-making.

The MMS program is strategically designed and executed to nurture critical thinking. It achieves this by providing students with a comprehensive education that includes both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, ultimately equipping them with the skills necessary for well-rounded development.

The MMS program readies students for careers in various sectors, both nationally and internationally. It facilitates the assimilation and application of knowledge, encompassing theory and practice across multiple managerial domains. This approach empowers students to adopt an integrated perspective when dealing with real-life situations and challenges.

Program Structure:

• The MMS program's foundation consists of the Induction Program and Foundation Course, which precede the official start of the MMS program to introduce students to its core concepts.

• The first semester serves as the initial step in the academic journey, providing a common knowledge base essential for all aspiring management professionals. It includes eight subjects: five core and three elective courses chosen from a selection of ten.

• The second semester encompasses eight subjects as well, with five being core subjects and three being elective courses from the same list of ten.

• To ensure practical application of management principles, students must complete a two-month summer internship with a company. This internship culminates in the preparation of a report, which is subsequently evaluated by examiners.

• Semester III of the MMS program focuses on specialization in disciplines such as Marketing, Finance, Systems, Operations, and Human Resource Management.

• During Semester IV, MMS students engage in three projects in addition to one core subject and one elective course specific to their chosen specialization.

• Examinations for Semesters III and IV in the second year are administered by Mumbai University.
