NIT Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu was established in the year 1964. It is All India Council for Training Education(AICTE) and University grant commission recognition institute. It is one of the oldest B-Schools in India. Chief General Manager, Compliance SEBI Ravi Kumar , General Manager, Volvo India Ltd. Renjith Radhakrishnan are some of its distinguished alumni. The university has been awarded “Bloomberg UTV award” for Outstanding B-school (South) in the year 2012. “B – School which promotes Innovations that leads to better Development” by the 19th Dewang Mehta Business School Award for the year 2011.
