Woxsen School of Business recently launched the ‘Woxsen Leadership Series’, a talk series aimed at motivating its students through stories told by achievers and leadesr from different walks of life.
Through the Leadership Series, Woxsen aims to examine issues that leaders will have to contend with as workplaces embrace emerging technologies and evolve. Eminent leaders from within the corporate world and outside are invited to share their thoughts on leading companies, leading people, managing change, managing business downturns, corporate ethics, social responsibility and other leadership challenges.The speaker for the inaugural session of the series held on 28 Nov was Mr Mark Inglis, a celebrated mountaineer who is also the first and only double amputee to have summited Mt Everest. In addition, he has also been a silver medalist in cycling in the Paralympic games and is a passionate wine maker. He spoke on the subject- “Leadership in turbulent times”. In addition to the students, invitees from the corporate world were also present in the audience.
