The website named shaadieasy.com will provide prospective brides and grooms with information on marriage halls, caterers, invitation card printers, car rentals, sweet shops, etc., stated the school’s official release. The site aims at users getting compiled information on logistics with a comparison based approach. The site is free for users and it will charge minimum amount for service providers to get listed and even arrange appointments with customers, added the release.
Currently the listings are available for six major cities namely Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Banglore and Hyderabad. The venture was assisted for resources by the Science and Technology Entrepreneursa Park (STEP) at IIT-K. The funding was done by the students which included data collection and site development, stated the release.
