The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from interested candidates for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2015. The services/posts to which recruitment is to be made through this exam and the approximate number of vacancies to be filled are as follows:

Minimum educational qualification required: 

In order to be eligible to appear for the examination, a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination. 

Age limit:

Candidates for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st January, 2015. The upper age limit is relaxable for OBC and SC/ST category candidates by three and five years respectively. 

Scheme of examination:

Part-I Computer based examination (500 marks)

Candidates are required to take the computer-based examination for two papers with each paper worth 250 marks. Each paper will be of two hours duration.

Part-II Personality Test: (100 Marks)

Those candidates who qualify the computer-based examination would appear for a Personality test worth 100 marks.
