The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of UPSC Civil Services 2016 on their website. Civil Engineering graduate from M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Nandini K R topped the UPSC Civil Services examination. Of the 2,961 qualified candidates for the personality interview round, only 1099 made the cut. A total of 500 general category and 347, 163 and 89 candidates from the OBC, SC and ST categories respectively. A reserved list of 200 candidates and 61 candidates with their roll numbers mentioned, have been provisionally selected for the posts.

There are 1209 posts in IAS, IFS, IPS and Group A and B services department across the country. Marks scored by the candidates will be put up by UPSC in 15 day’s time.
