The Uttar Pradesh Public Service commission has released the date for the Province Civil Service examination. The UPPSC PCS 2019 is scheduled to take place on December 15, 2019. The province Civil Service examination is conducted for the post of Assistant conservators or forest and Range forest officers. The date of releasing of Application form will be announced later. SELECTION PROCESS
The candidates have to go through 3 processes in order to get placed as Assistant Conservator of forest or Range Forest officer. The process is as follows:
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Exam
- Viva – Voice
EXAM PATTERN
PRELIMINARY EXAM
The preliminary exam is conducted for 400 marks, and it consists of two parts. Each part is valued at 200 marks. The first part is General Studies, the second part, and General Studies ll. The preliminary exam is a multiple-choice question examination, and each question carries 1 mark. The candidate should score 33% in order to be eligible to appear for the main exam.
MAIN EXAM
The main exam is divided into 8 parts. They are
- Hindi
- Essay
- General Studies 1
- General Studies 2
- General Studies 3
- General Studies 4
- Optional Paper 1
- Optional Paper 2
Hindi and Essay are for 200 marks, and all the other subjects are for 150 marks; thus, the exam is conducted for a total of 1500 marks.
VIVA – VOICE
Even the interview is conducted for mark by the UPPSC. The interview is conducted for 100 marks, and the candidate will be marked according to the personality test.
