Good news for government job aspirants in Uttar Pradesh, The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has recently announced a job notification for the posts of Stenographer and Office Assistant (Accounts) at Lucknow. The official notification was released online through its official website.
Candidates who are interested and meet the required eligibility criteria can apply online for the recruitment drive as the application process is already active. However, candidates should submit their applications until November 14, 2019. The total number of vacancies in this recruitment drive of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited is 18, out of which 15 are for the Stenographer post and the remaining 3 for the Office Assistant (Accounts) posts.
The candidates will have to go through the three rounds of selection process i.e., the written test, skill test followed by the last round i.e., documents verification (DV). The first round of the selection process i.e., the written test is expected to be held in January 2020. Candidates should note that they have to make their own arrangements for appearing for the rounds of the selection process and no DA/ TA will be offered by the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited.
The application fee for the recruitment can be paid both in online and offline modes. However, the deadlines for both the processes are different, candidates opting for online mode of payment have time until November 14 to pay the application fee whereas candidates for paying through SBI offline Challan, the timeframe provided to the candidates is November 16, 2019 (during the working hours of SBI bank).
The application fee for candidates from the general and OBC category is Rs 100 whereas the SC and ST candidates are supposed to pay Rs 700 as the application fee. Candidates are advised to submit their applications and pay the application fee well in advance to avoid high web traffic on the website during the last days.
