The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), based in Lucknow, was established in December 2008 and is the state recruitment board of Uttar Pradesh under the Uttar Pradesh government, entrusted with the task of recruiting and promoting police officers and other police related workforce within the state. It recruits a number of candidates every year to fill in vacancies for posts like Police constable and others.
All the candidates who had applied for the post of Police Constable this year under the UPPRPB’s recruitment program can now check out the additional results of the exam that they had appeared for earlier this year, on the official website of UPPRPB which is www.uppbpb.gov.in.

UP Police Constable 2019 Result
The additional result includes a list of candidates who have been selected now, after the first round of PST (Physical Standard Test) and DV (Document Verification) that had been conducted after the 1st round of results had been published. The candidates concerned may follow the simple steps given below to avoid hassle and to be able to access their results easily-
- Step 1- Log on to the official website of UPPRPB which is uppbpb.gov.in. For all government recruitment bodies, the results and other things related to the examination and recruitment process are available on the official website of the conducting body.
- Step 2- On the home page that appears on your screen, look for the ‘Notice’ option. The Notice section highlights all important announcements and other such notifications that the board wants to convey to the public.
- Step 3- On the new page that appears now, look for the link that reads ‘UP Police Constable Additional Result 2019’ and click on it. These hyperlinks allow you to access the results directly and are mostly in the form of pdfs. Another important thing to note is that all these links are available on the website in Hindi.
- Step 4- The results page will now open and there shall also be a short notification attached to it containing a few instructions and other details related to the results.
- Step 5- You may save the result and also download it on your computer system. It is also advisable to immediately get the result printed so that you have a hard copy for future use.
All candidates whose names feature in the additional results list will have to appear for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Document Verification (DV) process is scheduled for the 5th of October 2019. All this has been mentioned in the notification attached to the results. The UP Police Constable exam was conducted on the 27th and 28th of January, 2019, which was earlier this year.
