The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), the government elected body for recruiting enthusiastic candidates for various public service posts within the state of Telangana, had conducted the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for the post of Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT), Telugu medium.
The TSPSC has now released a fresh list of candidates who have been selected to be appointed to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher in Telangana. The list has been released way before the intended date as the authorities have been at work to ensure the same.
According to the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), the previously published list of selected candidates had to be done away with due to certain reasons and hence a fresh list has now been created and published.
The previously selected candidates’ names had featured in official notifications sent out on 4th April 2019, 29th April 2019, 3rd May 2019, 16th May 2019, 27th May 2019, 24th June 2019 and 29th June 2019 by the commission. In lieu of these lists however, the commission has now come up with a new list.
The candidates whose names feature on the new list are now provisionally selected for being appointed to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher, Telugu Medium. These candidates have been selected on the basis of a written examination conducted last year on the 25th of February which had objective multiple-choice type questions in an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) patterned paper. Given below are a list of steps that candidates may follow to view the results-
- Long on to the official website of TSPSC – tspsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, in the latest news section, look for a link that reads ‘TRT-Secondary Grade Teacher-Telugu Medium- Notfn No. 53/2017-Provisional list of selected candidates-After Relinquishments-Reg’ and click on it.
- The results will appear on your screen. It will feature your hall ticket number, the district you had selected and the area you had selected.
TSPSC Group 2 2019
As per the latest updates, almost 59 vacant posts have been held back while around 74 vacancies have not been filled due to the lack of availability of any eligible candidates. 117 vacancies have been withheld due to court cases. The 270 vacancies for the physically handicapped candidates have not been filled up as authorities are waiting for the possible interchangeability in categories. The total number of vacancies for Secondary Grade Teacher was 3,786 of which 3,325 vacancies have already been filled in by this new selection list.
In this newly published list, there are 2 parts or 2 sub lists. One contains the names of 2822 candidates who have been provisionally selected after relinquishment. The second one has 503 names of those whose selection relies on reception of clearance from district collectors. There is also a high possibility of these lists undergoing another change owing to several factors which include-
- The final orders being received in various WPs.
- Receiving clearance from District Level Committees with regards to agency claim.
- Interchangeability among the Physically Handicapped categories.
