Tripura got the statehood on 21st January 1972 and the Tripura public service commission was established on 30th October 1972. It was incorporated under the provisions of article 315 of the constitution of India. The functions of the organization is to conduct examination for appointment to various services of the state, to make direct recruitment to the subordinates and ministerial services, to advice the government on principles to be followed in making the appointments, transfers from
one service to another, advice the government on all disciplinary matters, to advise any matters so referred to the commission by the governor.
Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has issued notifications for recruiting eligible candidates to the posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (Men and Women) (Un-Armed and Armed Branch), Group-C, Non-Gazetted under the Home Department. Please find detailed information regarding the vacancies below.

How to Apply for TPSC Recruitment 2019

Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates for all the posts would be made on the basis of the performance of the eligible candidates in the following:
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Written Examination (200 marks, conventional type)
- Personality Test (20 marks)

Upper Age limit is relaxable by:
5 years for SC/ST/PH/Government Servant candidates.
