Tripura got the statehood on 21 st January 1972 and the Tripura public service commission was established on 30th October 1972. It was incorporated under the provisions of article 315 of the constitution of India. The functions of the organization is to conduct examination for appointment to various services of the state, to make direct recruitment to the subordinates and ministerial services, to advice the government on principles to be followed in making the appointments, transfers from one service to another, advice the government on all disciplinary matters, to advise any matters so referred to the commission by the governor.
Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has issued notifications for recruiting eligible candidates to the posts of Tripura Civil Service Grade-II & Tripura Police Service Grade-II, Group-A Gazetted under GA (P&T) Department, Govt. of Tripura. Eligible candidates must ensure that they possess the necessary qualifications and fulfil all the required criteria before applying for the posts.

Candidates should keep the following ready before registering applications:
- Valid E-mail id
- Scanned copy of latest passport size coloured photograph.
- Relevant documents such as Educational Qualification, Caste Certificate [SC/ST], and Disability Certificate.

Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates for all the posts would be made on the basis of the performance of the eligible candidates in the following:
- Preliminary Examination (200 marks)
- Main Examination (800 marks)
- Personality Test (100 marks)

Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 40 years
Cut Off Date: 01.03.2019
Upper Age limit is relaxable by:
3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer).
5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Unreserved candidates: Rs 200
SC/ST/BPL candidates: Rs 150
