T.A. Pai Management Institute, also known as TAPMI, has been a coveted management institute since its inception in 1980. BBA Honors Program at TAPMI
The Bachelor of Business Administration Honors (BBA Honors) program of TAPMI aims to transform young students into global business leaders with a multi-dimensional perspective. The structure of the program has been carefully curated, keeping in mind a need to sharpen students’ outstanding intellectual ability and develop a cross-disciplinary mindset and in-depth functional expertise in them.
This 4-year program also incorporates international tours with organized visits to world-class industries abroad. For the holistic development of students, the program also includes student-driven co-curricular activities such as the TAPMI book club (TBC) and the Technology Club. The BBA Honors program is being offered at TAPMI Bengaluru at the sprawling campus of Manipal Academy of Higher Education at Yelahanka.

Year-Wise Structure of the BBA Honors Program
The BBA Honors program has been curated to offer structured learning through its 4 years duration. This program offers a multidisciplinary foundation in the first year, progressing to a highly specialized course curriculum in the fourth year with on-demand courses.
Year 1: Multidisciplinary foundation courses
Year 2: Core Business and Technology Courses
Year 3: Specialization Courses
Year 4: Honors Track with three options: (a) Advanced Specialization, (b) Entrepreneurship, (c) Research
Students are offered internships at the end of the first, second and third years with live projects every semester. After graduating from the BBA program, students can join an M.Sc Program offered by the University of Southampton. If a student wants to exit the course after 3 years of the program, they will be awarded a BBA degree.
Career Choices after BBA Honors at TAPMI
The corporate journey of a BBA Honors graduate begins as a corporate trainee and progresses onto a career in middle management and eventually towards them leading a functional area. Admission Process and Eligibility for TAPMI’s BBA Honors Program
- Students applying for the program should have cleared the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/(10+2) Examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% aggregated marks in passed in 2021, 2022.
- Applicants appearing for these exams in 2023 are also eligible for the program, provided they secure the minimum marks.
- Applicants should have English as a compulsory HSC/(10+2) Examination subject.
In addition to the above eligibility requirements, candidates should have appeared in any one of the following entrance tests:
- IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) conducted by IIM Indore
- JIPMAT (Joint Integrated Program in Management Admission Test) conducted by National Testing Agency
- JEE mains (Joint Entrance Examination) conducted by the National Testing Agency, for the corresponding academic year
- SAT examination (administered on behalf of the College Board by the Educational Testing Service)
- Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)
- Manipal Entrance Test (MET) conducted by MAHE
- Applicants to this program should be at most 20 years of age as on 1st August 2023.
Shortlisting Criteria
Shortlisted students will be informed via their registered email addresses. After that, they will be required to appear for an online interview and micro-presentation round.

The final selection of candidates for admission to the program would be made based on the following:
- Xth & XIIth academic profile and English proficiency
- Entrance Test (IPMAT/ JEE/ SAT) scores
- Extra-curricular achievements
- Personal interview round
- Micro-presentation round
