My happiest moment! Well, it’s going to be interesting to think about it. So, I close my eyes and lots of images, blurred with vague memories, float in-front of my eyes. I open my eyes with disappointment, focus on the happiest moment I ever had and again close my eyes. This time the images are pretty clear but still I am unable to find a particular moment. Why is it so? It’s because, I don’t have only one moment which I can classify as the happiest moment but I have too many moments when I was happy. So, let me share a few moments.
The first moment which comes to my mind is when I got my result of higher secondary. But before narrating about that moment let me brief about how I reached there. After my results of secondary, I was despondent as my results were not up-to the mark. I decided to focus my energy towards studies and planned my days ahead.
Days passed quickly and the day of the exam arrived. I appeared for the exam with full confidence and attempted all the papers with zeal.
After completion of the exams and a big vacation of two months, the day of the result arrived.
It was the third Thursday of March and the result was supposed to be out by 10 AM. But I was so enthusiastic about my result that I woke up at 5 AM. I completed my morning chores by 6 AM and started my computer. As the hours passed, the nervousness increased. Finally, the moment arrived. As the clock struck 10, I fed all my data in the result webpage and clicked on the “Enter” button. Usually, at such moments the result sites crash but to my surprise, my result loaded immediately. As I looked at my result my eyes filled up with tears. I was totally exuberant in that moment as I had scored 90% and had aced the exam in the whole of my school. My parents felt the vicarious joy and praised me for the achievement. It was one of the best moments of my life because in that particular moment I realized the importance of the hard work which I had put in the two years after secondary.
Another moment when I had a similar feeling was when I got placed in Larsen and Toubro.
