- MBA
The 2-year MBA program is the flagship course offered by TAPMI. This program aims to build leadership capabilities in students through cross-functional integrated learning. The MBA program at TAPMI is not the regular program most B-schools offer. This programme includes a four-pronged approach: Flexible Learning Processes, Leadership Development, Extended Industry Interface and Internationalisation. The courses offered under this programme include BrandScan, SEVA, SMIC, SAMNIDHY, Integrative Thinking Simulation and OMEGA.
- MBA (BKFS)
TAPMI’s MBA-Banking and Financial Services (BKFS) program is based on the MS-Finance program of the US with additional inputs on business management. This program provides an in-depth understanding of business financial decisions. The curriculum for the MBA-BKFS program is CFA C-BOK (candidate body of knowledge) certified. Since 80% of the curriculum is similar to the CFA curriculum, it helps a student pursue the CFA certification simultaneously. TAPMI’s academic partner GARP has certified that the MBA-BKFS course is in line with the Financial Risk Management (FRM) certification and meets the latest global industry standards. The key program specializations include Finance and Banking Services.
- MBA (HRM)
The MBA (HRM) program at TAPMI has a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum. It has been curated in collaboration with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is in line with global standards. This 2-year MBA (International Business) program was started in 2022 and is divided into four semesters. The first year includes courses such as Accounting, Finance, Organizational Behavior, Economics, Human Resources, Communication, Operations Management, Global Business Environment and Fundamentals of Strategy. For the program’s second year, students can choose their courses from two tracks and a corresponding list of electives.
TAPMI Admission Criteria and Selection Process
TAPMI admission is a three-step process: Taking CAT/XAT/GMAT, shortlisting based on exam scores and candidate profile, and the final selection.
- The eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA programs at TAPMI requires the candidate to hold a bachelor’s degree of a minimum 3 years duration, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- The institute uses CAT/XAT/GMAT scores to shortlist MBA program candidates. The candidate should be registered for CAT 2022/XAT 2023 or have a valid GMAT score to become eligible for admission.
- Applicants must submit the TAPMI Manipal Application for MBA Admission 2023 online.
- TAPMI cut-off for Admission 2023 are: CAT 2022- 85 percentile, XAT 2023- 85 percentile and GMAT (2018-2022)- 630
The admission criteria for 2023 are the same for all five MBA programs offered by TAPMI. The eligibility criteria, selection process and weightage used for shortlisting candidates for the final merit list for all the programs are also the same.
