Through an official notification, the Supreme Court of India has announced the vacancy for several posts in its administrative system. Interested candidates can start applying for the posts through the official website of the Supreme Court from 28th September to 24th October 2019.
Supreme Court, which is seated in Delhi, announced a total of 58 vacancies for the recruitment of Senior Personal Assistants and Personal Assistants. To read the exact notification, candidates can search for the notification number – ‘F.6/2019-SCA (I)’ Candidates who are interested in applying for the given posts can do so from the official website. But before that it is necessary to check whether the candidate is eligible for the given exam or not. Here is the eligibility criteria for the exam –
- Senior Personal Assistant
- Degree from a recognised university
- Proficiency in Shorthand (English) with a speed of 110 words per minute (w.p.m)
- Computer Operation ability and typing speed of 40 w.p.m
- 2 years experience as a stenographer or equivalent of it
- Maximum age limit is 32 years
- Personal Assistant
- Degree from a recognised university
- Proficiency in Shorthand (English) with a speed of 100 w.p.m
- Computer Operation ability and typing speed of 40 w.p.m
- Maximum age limit of 27 years

- Choose the correct link
A candidate needs to select the correct link under the various recruitment related links presented on this page. The links state ‘Online Application for Registration for Personal Assistant Examination-2019’ and ‘Online Application for Registration for Senior Personal Assistant Examination-2019’ Click on the link according to the post you are eligible for.
- Fresh Candidate Registration
Upon clicking the link, a PDF will be downloaded automatically which will have the link for the application. Click on the link. If you have never registered for any other post before, you are a fresh candidate and will have to register as a fresh candidate by clicking the relevant link.
- Further details
Once the candidates have registered they can continue the application process whereby they have to fill in the relevant details carefully and correctly. Once done, the candidate can press submit to finish up the entire process.
- Make the payment
Once the details have been filled, candidates must not forget the payment without which the application will not be accepted. The application fee is as follows –

- SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ Dependants of freedom fighters : Rs 150/-
