IBS campuses located at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune are the constituents of the Icfaian Foundation. They offer two-year, full-time Postgraduate Program in Management (PGPM) to prepare the students and equip them for successful corporate careers.
IBS campuses are committed to achieve excellence in teaching and research by focusing on the necessary hardware (like infrastructure, library, computers etc.) and software (like pedagogy, learning frameworks, e-learning kits, databases, software etc). Faculty members are encouraged to pursue teaching and research projects, publish research articles in refereed journals and participate in various national and international research seminars and conferences.
The Icfaian Foundation believes that management education should have a good blend of academic rigor and practical utility. The management graduates should be well-rounded with right knowledge, right skills and right attitudes. IBS Campuses Students are encouraged to get involved in several co-curricular and extracurricular activities so that all-round personality development takes places.
Internships and placements are given utmost importance. Every year several leading companies visit IBS campuses for summer internships and final placements. Career Management Centers located at IBS campuses guide the students on placement matters.
The alumni fraternity is also growing from year to year. The IBS Alumni Federation (IBSAF) has chapters in several cities in India and abroad and alumni actively participate in the development of various IBS campuses.

MBA Option
PGPM students are encouraged to pursue MBA Program concurrently on flexi-mode / distance learning mode in any of the three Universities.
- The ICFAI University, Dehradun
- The ICFAI University, Tripura
- The ICFAI University, Jharkhand
Alternatively, they can pursue the MBA Program from any other University of their choice.
The ICFAI University, Dehradun Provides online examination facility also.
Program Structure
The program comprises of 30 courses (of which 22 are compulsory courses and eight are elective courses), a summer internship program, a management research project. These courses are spread over four semesters. In addition to these, the student can also pursue two optional free elective courses.
Study Abroad
The students pursuing PGPM Program have a unique opportunity to study abroad at IBS Adelaide in
Australia or ICFAI Brittanica at Birmingham, UK for a semester, subject to regulations.
Careers and Placement
IBS has adopted a very systematic approach towards building the careers of its students. To make this possible, it has set up a Career Management Center to plan and implement the placement activities throughout the year.
Bank Loans
Most of the students pursuing programs at IBS have financed their education through educational loans from Nationalized and private banks. IBS has entered into MOU with HDFC Bank and CREDILLA Financial Services for providing educational loans to students.
Eligibility
A bachelors degree with medium of instruction as English, from any discipline, with 50% and above marks as calculated by respective University.
Admission
IBS accepts IBSAT 2010 / GMAT / CAT 2010 / XAT 2011/ MAT 2010-11 scores. The GMAT code number is 7061.
