The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct an open examination for Junior Engineers (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts). As per the notification, the SSC will be conducting the SSC JE 2019 Exam in a Computer-Based mode. All the important details of the exam will be announced by the SSC on 1st August 2019. Eligibility CriteriaThe SSC JE Examination 2019 will be held in two phases – Paper-1 (Computer-based exam) and Paper-2 (Descriptive type). The SSC JE Paper-1 will consist of 100 objective type questions from the subjects, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Part-A General Engineering (Civil & Structural)/Part-B General Engineering (Electrical)/ Part-C General Engineering (Mechanical) and General Awareness.

The SSC JE Vacancy 2019 also known as Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Quantity & Surveying Contracts) Exam 2018 notification was released by the commission without mentioning the number of vacancies available in SSC JE 2018-19. However, last year, the number of vacancy in Junior Engineer was 362. But the vacancy this year is expected to increase and around 500 to 1000 vacancies are anticipated.

The SSC is conducting the SSC JE Exam 2019 to recruit candidates for the position of the Junior Engineers in various engineering departments. The Staff Selection Commission has released a short recruitment notice for the post of Junior Engineer 2019 in the employment newspaper week from 26th January 2019 to 01 February 2019. As per the short notice, the SSC JE 2019 Exam date is going to be announced later on this year.
The SSC Junior Engineer Exam 2019 is going to be conducted in online mode only. The candidates who want to apply for the exam should have acquired or completed the required minimum educational qualification.
