Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the short notice regarding recruitment to the post of Stenographer in Grade C & D. Interested candidates who are eligible for the post can apply online through SSC official website https://ssc.nic.in/. As per the short notice released, the official notification with all the recruitment details will be released on 17th September 2019.
The online registration window will be activated soon and will be valid until 22nd October 2019. The recruitment process will consist of three stages: Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination followed by skill test and document verification. The final selection will be done only after the applicants clear all the three stages of the recruitment process.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Applicant must have passed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized university or board.
Age limit: Applicants must be within an age group of 18 to 27 years old. Further age relaxation will be provided as per the criteria set by the commission.
Selection Procedure:
Computer Based Test (CBT): Applicants will be called for online tests. Only those candidates who qualify this test will be called for the next round, which, is, skill test.

The duration of the test will be 2 hours.
Skill Test
The skill test will be conducted on the computer. A 10-minute dictation will be conducted in English/Hindi at the speed of 100 wpm for Grade ‘C’ and 80 wpm for the Grade ‘D’.
