The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the results for the CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) Tier 1 examination. The candidate can view and download the results online through the official website of the SSC: ssc.nic.in. The candidates for the Tier 2 examination have been shortlisted based on the Tier 1 results. There will be a total of three tiers in the selection process of the CHSL: Tier 1, Tier 2 which will be a descriptive test and the final tier 3 which will be a Skill/ Typing Test.
Along with the results of the Tier 1 examination, Staff Selection Commission has also released the category-wise cut off marks for the Tier 1 examination. The CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) Tier 1 examination was held from July 1 to July 11, 2019. The Tier 2 examination is scheduled to be conducted on September 29, 2019.
CHSL Tier 2 Examination
The Tier 2 Descriptive examination for the CHSL will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission on September 29, 2019. The Tier 2 examination is for a total of 100 marks. Candidates are asked to write an essay of 200 – 250 words and a Letter/ Application of 150 – 200 words. The total duration for the Tier 2 examination is one hour. To qualify the Tier 2 examination, candidates are required to score at least 33% marks in the examination.
CHSL Tier 3 Examination
The Tier 3 examination is a skill/ typing test for the qualified candidates in the Tier 2 examination. The typing test is mandatory and will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission at the Regional Offices of the Commission.
CHSL Document Verification (DV)
The candidates qualifying all the three tiers of the CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) examination will be called upon for the final round of the selection process i.e., Document Verification. The candidates will be called upon for the Document Verification to ensure and crosscheck the information provided by the candidate at the time of online application. Candidates that are qualified for the Document Verification (DV) are required to carry the original documents that are required.

How to check CHSL Tier 1 Examination
Candidates who appeared for the CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) examination Tier 1 test can now check the results online through the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC): ssc.nic.in. More than 13.7 lakh candidates have appeared for the CHSL examination that was held from July 1 to July 11, 2019. Candidates can view and download their results by following the below-mentioned steps.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the SSC: ssc.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the result tab that is present on top right corner
Step 3: The results for various departments will be listed, select CHSL from the categories
Step 4: Click on the ‘result’ link beside the list of the qualified candidates for Tier 1 according to the applied post
Step 5: A list of qualified candidates with full name and registration number will be displayed on the screen in a PDF format
Step 6: Download and take a printout of the list for future use
