The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) held the first paper of Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGL) Tier 2, today, November 30, 2016. SSC conducted the CGL Tier 2 2016 exam through the online mode for 1,49,319 candidates in various centers across the country. This is the first time, the exam is being conducted in an online mode.
The first paper was on Quatitative Aptitutde consisting of 100 questions for 200 marks. Soham Das, a candidate from Mumbai said, “The Quantitative Ability paper was difficult. Questions from Geometry, Time and Work and Mensuration were more in number. Level of difficulty ranged from medium to difficult.” About the cut-offs for Quantitative paper in tier 2 2016, Soham said, “It would definitely go up. Even tier 1 cut-offs were unexpectedly high. This only indicates that competition is increasing every year.”
Ravi Kumar, another candidate, agreed that the difficulty level was high. “Each answer took time because it involved more calculations. This eventually added to my anxiety and stress. But I managed to attempt about 85 questions out of 100.”
