SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has issued a notification for candidates appearing in CGL (Combined Graduate Level) exam 2019. In the notification, SSC asked the candidates not to wait for the last date of submission of application- as heavy traffic on the server often hampers the application process.
The last date of submission of the SSC CGL 2019 application is 25th November 2019 at 5 PM. The tier I CGL exam will be held from 2nd March 2020 to 11th March 2020. Tier II (Computer-based exam) and Tier II (Descriptive) will be held between 22nd June 2020 to 25th June 2020.

Exam pattern:
The primary exam will be having 100 questions of 2 marks each and 0.50 marks will be subtracted for every wrong answer. The questions will be from Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
The Tier II exam will have 4 papers namely- Quantitative abilities, English Language and Comprehension, Statistics, and General Studies (Economics and Finance).
Tier I and Tier II is the computer-based test, and Tier III will be descriptive type test.
How to apply:
The candidates applying for the exam of SSC CGL can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website www.ssc.nic.in.
- Log in with the SSC registration and password.
- Fill the application form with relevant details.
- Click on the submit button.
- Take a print out of the application form of SSC CGL 2019 for future reference.
The application fee for the SSC CGL 2019 is Rs.100/-. The selected candidates will get placed in group B and group C posts, and the pay scale ranging from Rs.35400/- to Rs.151100/- and Rs.25500/- to Rs.92300/- respectively.
