The recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak will be done through an open competitive exam by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). This recruitment is for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. Candidates can get more information on the SSC website, https://ssc.nic.in/ .
The open exam will have two papers to be held on 26th November 2019. The dates of the review in details will be released soon.
Syllabus is as follows:

Paper-1 | This paper is for scrutinizing the understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively |
Paper-2 | It contains two passages for translation-one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English. |
Exam Pattern:
Paper-1:
- This is an objective type exam.
- Total marks of the exam are 100.
- Exam duration is 2 hours.
- Each right answer will add 1 score and the wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks.
Paper-2:
- This is subjective type of paper.
- Total marks of the exam are 200.
- Exam duration is 2 hours.
- There is no negative marking.
