The Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune has released exam dates for SNAP 2017. Read on to know more about important dates, including registration, payment of registration fee, to release of merit list and commencement of the program.
About SNAP
Candidates aspiring to join MBA post-graduation programs offered by affiliated institutes of Symbiosis International University have to take the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test. SNAP is conducted in the month of December. The two-hour exam comprises four sections, namely English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Sufficiency, General Awareness and Analytical and Logical Reasoning.

Eligibility
Given below are the criteria for eligibility for SNAP:
1. The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) from a recognised university/institute.
2. In case the candidate holds a degree from a foreign university, then he/she will be required to obtain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
3. A candidate applying for the test should not be below 21 years of age.
Exam Pattern
SNAP is an objective type paper-based test. Tabulated below is the section-wise distribution of marks and number of questions.
The selection is done based on a candidate’s
performance in Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing
Ability Test (WAT).
Candidates
will be shortlisted for GE – PI – WAT on the basis of their overall percentile
in SNAP Test. Each of the affiliated SIU institutes will release its
category-wise cut-off, which will be published individually. Candidates meeting
the cut-off will be called for the next level, i.e. GE – PI – WAT.
