Raids conducted by the Income Tax department on establishments of Allen Career Institute in Kota and other parts of the country entered the second day today.
The Income Tax raids were conducted on 40 establishments of Allen Career Institute across the country, including several cities in Rajathan and as well as cities in other states including Chandigarh, Indore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Ranchi and others. Out of these 40 places, IT teams continued their raids at 27 establishments in Rajasthan including 22 establishments in Kota city alone where the headquarter of Allen is located. IT teams continued their search at the offices and residences of the Directors of Allen Career Institute, Kota. The coaching classes, however, continued without any disruption.
The IT teams collected relevant documents pertaining to coaching student fees, hostel, mess charges and others. Income Tax department sources revealed that the raids may continue either until later tonight or even into tomorrow.
IT teams have even checked bank lockers and are verifying gold jewellery.
Regarding the findings of the raids, IT official sources said that details would be disclosed once the raids conclude.
