Speaking on the ‘Em-Powering Women’ scholarship, Dr. N.R. Parasuraman, Director of SDMIMD said, ‘encouraging women to become leaders and managers is the core to empowerment of women in general. Women with work experience desirous of pursuing PGDM must be motivated! Hence, we have introduced ‘Empowering Women’ scholarship of Rs. 50,000 to support Women with work experience of one year and above. The aggregate marks for this category is 60% or more in academics and keen to make career in Management with our PGDM Program’.
The scholarship program by SDMIMD, a premier B-School having AICTE recognition is providing management education for 24 years is an attempt to support young aspiring applicants. The international tie-up provides opportunity to PGDM students to study abroad for a one-term of 3 months in one of the tie-up universities.
