SCERT or State Council of Educational Research and Training is an autonomous body under the Government of India that primarily looks into the state education system, its administration and regulation of the curriculum.
In 2019, SCERT Bihar has undertaken the responsibility of conducting the state level NTSE exam 2019-20. NTSE stands for the National Talent Search Examination. This examination is a great opportunity as it provides scholarships to students who qualify in it.
The National Talent Search Examination is conducted in two stages, wherein, in the first stage the exam is conducted on the state-level.
Students who qualify in this stage can appear for the second stage of examination which is a national level examination. NTSE 2019 Stage 1 exams are set to be conducted in several states in this month.
The NTSE Stage 1 examination in Bihar will be conducted on the 17th of November, 2019. For this examination SCERT Bihar will be releasing the admit card on its official website.
Students will be able to download their admit cards from 4th November, 2019. The admit card will be available through the online mode and will have to be downloaded according to the set procedure.
The following are a few steps with the help of which students will be able to download their admit cards –
- Step-1 : Visit the official website of SCERT Bihar, which is, https://www.biharscert.in/
- Step-2 : Look for the link for online application for NTSE 2019 and click on the link.
- Step-3 : Students will be redirected to a new page which will feature all the links with regard to the NTSE examination.
- Step-4 : On this page students will find the link for log in and registration.
- Step-5 : Students must fill in their log in details and click on the Submit option.
- Step-6 : Students will then be able to access their admit cards. They must check all the details available on the admit card.
- Step-7 : They must save a copy of the admit card in their computer and take a printout to preserve it as a hard copy.
The admit card is an extremely important document for the NTSE 2019. Without the admit card, students will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
Besides this, the admit card encloses various important details such as the examination timings, examination centre, instructions for the exam, etc.
For the upcoming exams, students will have to appear for two papers – Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).
Both these exams will be of 100 marks and will not entail any negative marking. Students resorting to unethical means will have to face negative consequences.
