This post goes for all those worrying about the compensation difference between SBI and associates.The differences are as following:
1.SBI offers 4 additional increments which is the best that is offered by any PSB at present so your basic rises to 16,900/- from 14,500/- in other associates,the only major one to exist.
2.The confirmation test which is conducted by SBI offers you a chance to get directly promoted to Scale 2 officer provided you secure the stipulated percentage of marks which may vary from 65-75%,this isn’t that bigger difference as other PSBs like PNB,BOB have fast channel promotion of 2 years too.
3.The point that should be the inspiration for all those aspiring to be part of SBI associates is that all other benefits like concessional simple Interest loan for staff, that comes under staff benefits have recently been approved for SBI associates too which was amended in SBI.
