The Steel Authority of India Limited or SAIL, is an Indian company that is based in New Delhi. It is a public sector undertaking and is one among the largest producers of steel in the world. SAIL has a total of 8 steel plants in India – five integrated steel plants in Bhilai, Bokaro, Burnpur, Rourkela and Durgapur and three special steel plants in Bhadravathi, Salem and Durgapur.
The Steel Authority of India Limited, Rourkela has announced several updates regarding the various exams that were going to be conducted by it. SAIL released a short notification announcing the changes and updates. Candidates who had made their applications for recent upcoming examinations should immediately take a look at the notification.
As per the short notification, the recruitment of Management Trainee posts has been cancelled entirely. In addition to this, the written tests that were scheduled on 24th November 2019 have been postponed. The new dates for the postponed exam are yet to be announced. The notification number for this announcement is ‘Fire Against Advt. No. 03/2019’.
The written test that was scheduled on 24th November 2019 was for 20 posts. These posts include the following –
- Junior Manager (Safety) (E-1)
- Junior Manager (Bio-Medical) (E-1)
- Junior Manager (Bio-Statistics) (E-1)
- Fire Operator (Trainee)
- Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee)
- Medical Officer (E-1)
- Nursing Sister (Trainee)
- Technician-laboratory (Trainee)
- Technician-Radiology (Trainee)
- Technician-Neurotechnologist (S-3)
- Technician-Cardiology (S-3)
- Technician-Nephrology (S-3)
- Technician-Bio Medical (S-3)
- Technician-MRD (S-3)
- Technician-CSSD (S-3)
- Dietician (S-3)
- Photographer (Trainee)
- Dresser- Burn & Plastic (Trainee)
- Laundry Operator (Trainee)
- Attendant – Dresser (Trainee)
However, the exams that have been scheduled for SAIL, Rourkela Executive Para-Medical Staff will be conducted on 17th November 2019. - Step-2 : On the homepage, visit the Career Section.
- Step-3 : Click on the link under this section which reads “Notice For Written Test For Various Posts Against ADVT NO. 03/2019 & ADVT NO. 04/2019″
- Step-4 : By clicking on the link, a pdf will automatically be downloaded with the desired exam dates.
- Step-5 : Candidates can take a printout of the exam schedule as a hardcopy and for offline referencing.
The admit card for this exam will also be released soon on the official website of SAIL, Rourkela.
