RRB NTPC (Railway Recruitment Board) conducts the exam for Non-Technical Popular Categories in Indian Railways. The NTPC job is highly demanding and it is a great opportunity for personal growth also. NTPC includes the jobs like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, and Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master. The candidates selected for these posts will be placed in various zonal railways and production units of Indian Railways. There are about 35227 vacancies for the above-mentioned posts.

The candidates for the post of NTPC will be selected on the basis of four stages of tests namely 1st stage Computer-based Test, 2nd stage Computer-based test, Typing Skill test, and Document Verification/Medical Examination.
The exam pattern for RRB NTPC is as follows:
1st stage Computer-based Test:

Typing skill test:
- For the posts of Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Junior Time Keeper the test will be of qualifying in nature.
- The candidates should be capable to type 30 words per minute in Hindi or English on PC only without spell check facility and editing tools.

Cut-off:
RRB officially releases the cut-off marks for the various posts of NTPC. The Cut-off is the minimum required marks to be obtained by the candidate for qualifying for the next stage of the recruitment process.
RRB NTPC cut-off is various for different posts and for different for stage 1 and stage 2, as well as an aptitude test, typing test, and document verification. The cut-off marks may vary according to the category of the candidate and as well as for 21 regional RRB.
The cut-off is applied for the following phases:
- Stage 1 prelims common for all posts
- Stage 2 mains.
- Typing test only for the posts of Junior Account Assistant-cum Typist and Senior Clerck cum Typist.
- Aptitude Test only for the posts of Assistant Station Master, and Traffic Assistant
- Document verification common for all posts.
- Final merit list.
